Ham & Creamy Noodles…

I decided to make something a bit different for dinner tonight as Laura was busy upstairs and I didn’t feel like cooking the same ol’ stuff.  Here is my new recipe that I have named: Ham & Creamy Noodles…

Minutes to Prepare: 5

Minutes to Cook: 20

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients:

Package of Penne Pasta

10 oz of Lean Ham Steaks Diced

1 Red Pepper Diced

1/4 Cup Diced Celery

1.5 Cups Milk

8 OZ Container of Cream Cheese

3 TBSP Butter 

1 TSP Garlic Powder

1 TSP Dill Weed

1/4 cup Cooking Sherry

1 TBSP of Corn Starch in Cold Water to thicken as needed…

Parmesan Cheese to Garnish

Parsley to Garnish

Directions

Boil noodles according to package directions. Chop ham into bite size pieces and brown in pan with the veggies in the butter. Remove from pan and add milk and cream cheese. Heat to a slight boil while whisking smooth thicken with Corn Starch. Drain noodles and add garlic powder and spices to sauce. Stir the noodles together with the veggies and spices in the sauce. Serve up on the plate and add parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve with a side of salad.
